~ Vanessa Althshuler ~

Vanessa Altshuler is originally from Oklahoma. She has appeared as both Rachel and Becky in "Soul Searching: A Rock Musical". Favorite performed roles include Queenie ("The Wild Party"), Gladys ("Pajama Game"), The Baker's Wife ("Into the Woods"), Annabel Glick ("Lucky Stiff"), Judy Haynes ("White Christmas"), Helga ("Cabaret") and Miss Thorn/Emily Block ("Ruthless"). Vanessa has also appeared in the feature films "Sam and Janet" and "The Fun Park," both out on DVD. She is thrilled to be part of big-whip Cherry Hill! Special Thanks to Matt and all of the cast! ~ Bill Barnett ~

As an actor, Bill has appeared in regional theater productions of "Man Of La Mancha", "Promises, Promises", "Of Thee I Sing"," Fiorello", and "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum". In New York, he has been seen in, among others, "Alexandra’s Web", Metropolitan Operas, "The One Armed Man", "Punchline", and most recently, "The Last Jew in Europe". As a playwright, Bill has received numerous awards, and his works have been performed from coast to coast and in between. Most recently, "Woody and the Heeb" was produced by The Manhattan Rep. Bill attended the BMI Musical Theater Workshop and is a member of the Dramatists Guild.



~ Giselle D'Souza ~

GISELLE D'SOUZA (Deirdre) : Giselle is originally from Portland, OR and Toronto. Her New York credits include: Sara in "Soul Searching" (Black Box Entertainment), Various Roles with Wildlife Theater (Central Park Zoo), a one woman piece entitled "~6x3=Safety", part of the Tiny Theater Festival (The Brick Theater), Actor in "Quickie: A 24hr Theatre Festival" (Tip My Cup Productions), Deirdre in "Cherry Hill" (Selected Scenes at Acoustic Theater, D-Lounge), Alida in "Legend of the Hummingbird" (Collective Company), Chanel in "8 Women: A Karaoke Murder Mystery" (Jimmy's No 43-dir. Leigh Hile), Soloist for "Hope for India Benefit" (Duplex Cabaret Theater), Gitanjali in "External Introspection" (Theatrix!-NYU), Kui Palo in "Danielle Steel Writes Children's Novel's" and Soloist for "2006 Fall Benefit" (The Looking Glass Theatre), Rusty in "Footloose" (St. Jeans Players), Lead Vocalist for "Kidstuf-NJ" (dir. Jeremiah Caleb). Giselle trained at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and received her BFA in Musical Theater from The New School.

~ Chadwick Elliott ~

Chadwick Elliott (Sheriff): Chadwick Elliott is happy to be a part of such a great production. He recently made the move to NYC after graduation from the Mississippi University for Women...and smart men too. Some of his past credits include: New York Theater: "Soul Searching" (Male Swing), "At a Party" (Charlie), Other Theater: "Dracula: Re-vamped" (Arthur), "The Foreigner" (Rev. Lee), "A Year With Frog and Toad " (Frog), "Unto These Hills" (Rev. Worcester), "Once Upon a Mattress" (Jester), On the Verge (Grover, et al), and "Book of Liz" (Brother Brightbee). In addition to theater, Chadwick has been in many independent films. He is also a comedic songwriter and Co-Founder of the improv group "Do You Like This in Your Face?". He has been seen most recently at New York Comedy Club and Broadway Comedy Club. Additional Training: Second City Improv workshop, and Physical Comedy with Avner Eisenberg. ~ David Thornton ~

David is thrilled to be joining the cast of Cherry Hill. He has most recently been seen in Matt Okin's other show "Soul Searching" playing the part of Dr. Perl. Other favorite roles include "Godspell" (Jesus), "Jesus Christ Superstar" (Annas), "Fiddler on the Roof " (Motel), "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (Levi), "The Nerd" (Axel). Being an avid fan of cartoons, David also has a unique talent for doing over 100 voices and dialects, and will be portraying 4 characters in the upcoming animated film "The Champion". He also wishes to dedicate this performance in memory of his mother, Bitsy, who lost her battle to cancer and inspired him to pursue this avenue with his life. He knows she is there guiding him each step of the way.
